The Poison Path: A Gripping Detective Crime Mystery

The DI Hogarth Mysteries - Gripping Adventures Every Time Book 8
Solomon Carter

THE BODY OF A FAILED ACTOR IS FOUND BENEATH SOUTHEND PIER. IT SEEMS THE MAN DRANK HIMSELF TO DEATH. BUT THE CLUES IN THE SAND TELL A VERY DIFFERENT STORY.
Actor Gareth Manning could have died from a suicidal booze binge – but DI Hogarth isn’t convinced. Shortly before the man died, Manning took on one last role to prove his critics wrong. Why would Manning drink himself to death before his final shot at redemption? And if this was murder, who had reason to wish him dead?
Detective Inspector Joe Hogarth and DS Palmer must work through layers of lies… and the deeper they delve, the murkier it gets.

About the Author

I'm Solomon Carter, author of the gripping DI Hogarth detective series and the Roberts and Bradley mysteries.
I was born in Southend-on-sea, Essex and I lived there for most of my life. In 2008 I started work at a local foodbank where I was part of a great team helping to feed people in need. Driven by a lifelong hunger to write, in 2015 I turned my hand to writing full-time, and In 2016 I moved to North Cornwall with my family. Cornwall is very beautiful, but I still visit Southend whenever I can because I love the place and I enjoy visiting my old stomping grounds. Southend still remains the focus of most of my stories.
As part of my work, I give away a lot of free books. If you would like to receive some of these along with any of the other exclusives I offer, then you are invited to join my Readers' Group at SolomonCarter dot net. I won't ever spam you - I'll just send you the occasional email with news on the latest books and forthcoming freebies.
I enjoy hearing from readers and try to respond to every message I get. If I don't reply to you for any reason, it'll be down to an oversight. Please just re-send your message or comment and I will soon get back to you.
My writing plans for 2024
Hogarth, Hogarth and more Hogarth
and hopefully, something new...
I look forward to hearing from you.
Happy reading!
All the very best,
Solomon :)
PS
if you have enjoyed any of my books, I'd be honoured if you could post a review. Those reviews really do help, you know!
